I don’t like Christmas much but everyone else has these awesome Christmas icons and I wanted one too so I tried to make one.

I was going to draw the little Shadow wearing the hat, but I thought that the big Shadow would be funnier.

I hope you don’t mind me posting these today but they’re just too perfect.

I finally got around to working on the Christmas present requests, and here’s the first one!

The little Shadow thought that the ants would be happier outside of the ant farm, roaming free in the wild and growing strong through conflict and death.

The little Vorlon is very sad because the Shadow broke its ant farm and it had thought that the ants would be happier in the orderly safety of the ant farm.  I drew a sadface because it’s really hard to make a giant glowing space squid look sad.

This picture is pretty rough and sketchy, but maybe I’ll try to do a more polished version at some point?  Making Vorlons and Shadows look cute and baby-ish is really hard.

To absent friends, in memory still bright.

I decided to draw a picture of Sinclair, in memory of Michael O’Hare’s passing.  It’s not much, but I wanted to do something.

I liked Sinclair, and War Without End was one of my favorite episodes of Babylon 5.  One of the people I know who’s just started watching Babylon 5 really likes Sinclair.  She told me that he’s one of her favorite characters so far, and that she had never thought she’d find a space captain (or commander in Sinclair’s case) who she would like as much as Picard (she’s a huge fan of TNG), but she said that she thinks she actually likes Sinclair more.  She clearly really loves the character, and it makes me really happy to know that there are still people discovering and caring about the character that Michael O’Hare brought to life.

A little Lyta Alexander fanart! I do adore Lyta as a character.

I drew her holding a puppet as a kind of symbolic thing because she’s pretty much used by everyone around her. She’s also wearing chains with the psi-corps symbol because…I’m not very subtle with my metaphors. I love drawing her with the BLACK EYES OF DOOM though. :P
